This extensive $7,500,000 major maintenance renovation project was completed in 2005. The school originally constructed in the early 1970's had not undergone any renovation since its original construction. The facility was both programmatically and functionally deficient. One of the significant changes made was the reconfiguration of the main entrance and administrative office areas to provide greater security within the school. The work consisted of site improvements; roof replacement; door and window replacements; floor, ceiling and wall finish replacement; toilet room renovations; gymnasium floor and equipment replacement; mechanical and electrical systems replacement; asbestos abatement; underground storage tank removal; and exterior landscape improvements. Work was completed in two phases under two different construction contracts.
