Wrangell High School

Designed to be constructed in two phases at the site of the existing high school, this project received an AIA Honor Award in 1987. The exterior brick wainscot topped with a terra cotta cap has remained vandal and weather resistant for over two decades. The metal roof design has kept eaves and valleys ice and snow free, while shedding snow away from people and plants. In service for twenty three years, the school has received minor renovations in recent years but remains fully functional for the students it serves.
